Final Send Off:

I really enjoyed making our product, looking back at it now I have learnt alot of new skills such as how to use After Effects and how to add filters to the footage. I also liked working with my group, I got to know my class members better and have now become friends. I would like to thank my teachers and the technicians for helping me in this project as well as guiding me through it and putting up with me 😅 I hope everyone enjoyed the project as much as I did, and I wish the teachers the best of luck marking their 100+ of students work.

Doing this project was both amazing and challenging at the same time.It took a lot of time and effort but seeing the final project made it all worth it.I have not only come out of this experience with great computre editing and filming skills but also with good team work skills and a better understanding of what it takes to create something as simple as a title sequence.I have truly enjoyed all of it even though some of it was hard like filming in the cold and having to do extra work at home but without it i wouldn't know my class mates as well and have people i can now call friends from it.Before starting this project i thought media was going to be easy.I was wrong. So to all the tecahers and technicians thanks for proving me wrong cause i have achieved more than i thought i could.

Evaluation of rough cut:

Overall, I belive that the title sequence was a success, because as a group we made sure that we filmed enough footage, even if it wasnt needed in the end. We didnt waste any time in the filming days, therefor we got to edit as soon as we finished filming, which gave us extra time perfect our rough cut.
Our footage is of high quality because we made sure that the lense was focussed as well as using fig rigs and tripods to make sure the camera was held steady and wasnt slanted in any way. We also made sure that the lighting was of good quality aswell. Not olny did we rely on natural lighting, but we also used the dedo lights to create sharp lighting, to enhance the atmosphere in the shot. We tried to be as creative as we could, by trying out different types of angles, which fit with our narrative and mise-en-scene.
As I was one of the people acting in the title sequence i cant help but say that me and Jayah performed really well, and tried to make it as realistic as we possibly could. The fact that i studied drama previously as a GCSE also helped me in my performance in front of the camera.
We chose to use an urban area to film our title sequence because it showed the 'dark' side of the great city of London, which is what we wanted to portray in my character.

Health check 1 and 2:

The reasons why I was behind in my blogs was because Ifound it hard to keep up with the constant blogging, as well as trying to stay on task with my other subjects as well. However, after these comments made by my teacher I realised that if i dedicated my lunch time and free periods into blogging, then I would be able to catch up- this is exactly what i did in the end.
